Becoming a member
The CAUTG welcomes anyone whose main professional concern is Germanic Studies, and who is interested in furthering the objectives of the association!
Please refer to the association’s Bylaws to learn more about the CAUTG.
The CAUTG currently offers three categories of membership; fees are based on sliding scale. In principle, membership is open to current and former staff members and graduate students of Canadian universities and colleges whose main professional concern is Germanic Studies. Associate membership is available to interested scholars from other fields or from non-Canadian institutions. Honorary membership is primarily awarded to Hermann Boeschenstein Medal recipients.
New and existing members can join the CAUTG or renew their membership here. For further, detailed information on membership eligibility, please contact Michel Mallet, the CAUTG’s Secretary. For questions regarding membership payment, please contact James Skidmore, the CAUTG’s Treasurer.
